This groundbreaking anthology, developed during a two-day workshop in Kampala, Uganda, is a collection of writing from an exciting mixture of emerging and established contemporary writers in East Africa. Short stories, poetry, letters and image-text pieces have been assembled to reflect and explore fresh , intriguing perspectives on some of the day to day life experienced by East Africans today.

This project is a collaboration between the African Writers Trust and Word-o-Mat, supported by the Writers’ Centre Norwich and the British Council as part of the International Literature Showcase.
