Full Name: Apollo Nelson Makubuya
Apollo Nelson Makubuya is a Ugandan corporate lawyer and author. Makubuya is a graduate of Cambridge University, UK and holds a first-class honours Bachelor’s Law degree from Makerere University and a Diploma in Legal Practice. He is a Senior Advocate qualified to practice law in all courts of Judicature in Uganda.
Apollo Makubuya serves as the Chief Palace Advisor to the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II. He was appointed to that position in February 2019, having previously served as Buganda’s Third Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs and Attorney General.
